1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, accessing, or using the DeyPage mobile application or website (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). DeyPage is operated byDeyPage.
2. What DeyPage Is
DeyPage is a business directory for Nigeria. It helps Consumers discover local businesses, and helps Business Owners get listed and found. DeyPage is not a marketplace or e-commerce platform — we do not sell goods, and listing a business on DeyPage does not create any transaction, agency, partnership, or employment relationship between DeyPage and the Business Owner or Consumer.
Business information on DeyPage (hours, address, contact, availability) is provided by Business Owners or Field Agents and may not always be accurate or current. Always confirm directly with a business before visiting or relying on listed information.
3. Eligibility and Accounts
- You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.
- You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for all activity under your account.
- You must provide accurate information when creating an account or a business listing.
- We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
4. Consumer Terms
As a Consumer, you may search, browse, save, and review business listings. Reviews and ratings you submit must be honest, based on genuine experience, and must not contain defamatory, false, or abusive content. We may remove content that violates this.
5. Business Owner Terms
- You represent that you are authorised to list and manage the business you submit.
- Listing information must be accurate; DeyPage or a Field Agent may verify your business (including confirming your physical location and identity — see our Privacy Policy) before a listing is published or kept visible.
- We may edit, unpublish, or remove a listing that is inaccurate, fraudulent, duplicated, or violates these Terms, at our discretion.
- Listing on DeyPage does not guarantee any particular ranking, visibility, or amount of traffic or customers.
- If paid features (e.g. promoted listings) are introduced in the future, separate pricing terms will apply and will be presented to you for acceptance before any charge.
6. Field Agent Terms
- Field Agents act on behalf of DeyPage to visit, verify, and register businesses in the field, following the process and guidance provided by DeyPage.
- Field Agents must handle any identity documents or personal data encountered in this role only for the purpose of business verification, must not copy, share, or retain such data outside the DeyPage app, and must comply with our Privacy Policy and applicable data protection law (NDPA) at all times.
- Any compensation, target, or engagement terms for Field Agents are governed by a separate agreement between the Field Agent and DeyPage, not by these Terms.
7. Payments (if applicable)
Where the Service involves any payment (e.g. via Paystack), those payments are processed by our third-party payment processor under its own terms. DeyPage is not responsible for payment-processor outages, chargebacks, or disputes, though we will assist in good faith to resolve billing issues raised through admin@deypagegmail.com.
8. User Content
By submitting content (reviews, photos, business descriptions, etc.) to DeyPage, you grant DeyPage a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use, display, reproduce, and distribute that content in connection with operating the Service. You represent that you own or have the right to submit the content.
9. Prohibited Conduct
You agree not to:
- Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent business listings or reviews;
- Impersonate another person or business;
- Upload another person's identity document without lawful authority to do so;
- Use the Service to harass, defame, or harm another user or business;
- Attempt to interfere with, disrupt, or gain unauthorised access to the Service or its data;
- Use automated means (scraping, bots) to extract data from the Service without our written permission.
10. Intellectual Property
The DeyPage name, logo, app, and website (excluding user-submitted content and third-party business information) are the property of DeyPage and protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
11. Disclaimers
The Service and all business information on it are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. DeyPage does not guarantee that any listed business exists, operates as described, or will provide any particular product or service.
12. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, DeyPage and its officers, employees, and agents will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Service, or from any transaction or interaction with a business found through the Service.
13. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold DeyPage harmless from any claim or demand, including reasonable legal fees, arising out of your breach of these Terms, your content, or your use of the Service.
14. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, DeyPage, or third parties.
15. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Federal Republic of Nigeria, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
16. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
